Forever 21 Dressing Room Edit

This past week Lindsey and I hit up Forever 21 for a tryon and it was unfortunately pretty disappointing. But that’s the thing with Forever 21, it can be super “on” and super NOT “on”. Haha! Tips for Shopping Success at Forever 21

1. Get to know the layout of your local store.

Though this can definitely change, I’ve found that my local store does maintain somewhat of a similar layout from week to week. Dressier items, shoes, and accessories are on the main floor. Undergarments, athletic wear, and clearance can be found on the second floor.

I’ve also found that I can quickly ascertain the vibe or style of each section when I walk in on a given day. Usually, I am drawn to certain areas more than others based on this information. One thing that Forever 21 has going for it is that there is something for everyone style wise!

2. Take your time.

Because it can be totally overwhelming, you want to make sure you have a decent amount of time to peruse Forever 21. Now there are certainly days like the other day when I’m not really feeling drawn to anything so the 40 minutes that I had felt like more than enough. But there are other days that I’m loving everything in just one section and I want to try everything on in a single section.

Even though I could tell I wasn’t into anything the time crunch made me more frustrated with the fact that I struck out.

3. Don’t go hungry.

I don’t know about you but for me hunger can make a shopping trip go bad regardless of whether or not I’m finding anything. But it certainly makes not finding anything that much worse.

4. Accessories! Accessories! Accessories!

Forever 21 is where I head if I need trendy costume jewelry. It is so affordable and they always have a plethora of what’s  currently in style. Don’t go over board because it certainly doesn’t last forever but it is is great for when you have a certain look in mind and don’t want to spend a lot of money.

5. Athletic Wear

Forever 21 is a great spot to look for cute athletic wear. Having cute workout apparel is a great motivator for me to workout so I love to checkout what they have available when I pop in.

6. Undergarments

I recently discovered what a great resource Forever 21 is for undergarments. They have great basic bralettes and bodysuits for just about any look you could need a unique solution for.

I totally had to pop back in for this cutie because I couldn’t get it off of my mind! It’s such a fun pop of Spring for styling during the Winter and will travel into Spring/Summer so well!
