So we know that you guys are just as obsessed with leopard print as we are and are DYING to know how to incorporate it in your holiday looks. Don’t you worry, we got your backs! Haha!
In actuality we both gravitated towards incorporating leopard print without planning this ahead of time. Would be funny coincidence except for the fact that we find ourselves twinning more and more as we get older. Must be a sister thangg!
Here are some tips for getting that leopard print in!
1. Accessorize.
Currently you can find a leopard print version of literally every accessory. I’m serious head to Target, H&M, or Express (just to name a few) and you could leave with leopard print shoes, hats, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, belts, jackets, purses, and probably even an iPhone case. Oooh, a leopard print phone case is def going on my wishlist!
2. Create an outfit around it.
My whole holiday look was created around this fab leopard print skirt I found on clearance at H&M. Isn’t it to die for?! You could also take pants, a top, or jacket, and build an outfit around that. Treat it like the star of the show and go from there.
3. Treat it as a neutral.
Contrary to what you might automatically think, leopard print is one of the neutral prints. You can get away with using it with bold colors and other prints, two things which are usually considers no nos with a loud print.
Don’t be scurred to pop on a leopard print accessory with what might seem like an already loud outfit. Or use it to spice up an outfit compiled of basics. One of my favorite looks lately is all black with my leopard print bag. There is just something about it!
Without further ado, let’s take a peak at our looks.
Jenne’s Look
I legit cannot get enough of this look! It is a little hard to tell but the shirt is the perfect deep Christmas green. When I saw the skirt and shirt at H&M I immediately thought that my orange red belt with gold hardware would complete the look perfectly. My vintage style strappy heels from Target and a thrifted box clutch complemented everything so well. And of course this look called for a red lip (Loréal Matte Lipstick in the shade MATTE-ly in love) and red nails (Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in ASAP Apple.)
