Our first date night in our new city was a complete fail. We were all ready and excited to go see the movie A Star is Born at 8pm. I mean we should’ve known better than to not make a reservation, but we never had to do that back home. So we arrive at the theater and the only spots left were all in the front row. I don’t know about you, but I can’t do the front row. So we went to go eat a late dinner instead. Our first stop was Red Robin, who doesn’t love an endless basket of fries?! The wait was longer than we wanted so we moved onto something else. We ended up at a yummy Thai restaurant. I guess the date night wasn’t a complete fail, but we learned our lesson – reservations are a must here…pretty much everywhere!
Even though our date didn’t go as planned, I still loved my outfit! The weather here is still pretty warm 60s during the day and 50s at night. I loved that I was warm, comfortable, and still a bit dressed up.
The Jacquard Skirt
I picked up this adorable skirt at a discount store I went to in Dayton with Jenne. They sell a ton of Express items that didn’t get sold in stores at a super affordable price point. It was only like $10 bucks so I of course had to get it.
The Body Suit
I have been obsessing over body suits lately. I only buy the ones that unsnap though, because otherwise I won’t want to wear it as often. I grabbed this long sleeve ribbed material body suit from Express. It’s off the shoulder so it looks super cute and dressy alone as well!
The Knee High Boots
These suede Steve Madden knee high’s were on my Christmas list last year. I absolutely love them and find that they are the perfect fall boot for those dressier occasions.
The Velvet Jacket
This jacket was another find at the discount store Jenne and I went to. It’s by Express and it was less than $15 bucks! It fits so nicely and went perfectly with this outfit to help keep me warm as it got cooler.
What’s your go to fall date night style? I’m not a fan of colder weather but I do love fall fashion!
