Outfit Post | Black + White

It’s been awhile since we shared something as simple as an outfit post here on the blog. This classic Black + White outfit felt so good, I wanted to highlight it here.

If you aren’t following along over on Instagram, you should! I share my outfit’s just about everyday that I put in an effort. Which, for me is most days because it’s just better for my overall productivity and mental health. Lindsey has been busy moving but she will be back to regularly scheduled programming ASAP.

Anyyyywayss! If you are following over there you have already seen all of this, but I wanted to put it all together in one place.

Black + White Head to Toe

Typically I don’t wear black and white head to toe because I think it can get basic real quick. I like to mix it with denim or pops of color for a little bit of pizazz.  But as this outfit came together in my mind/on my body, I decided that going all the way would be pizazz in and of itself.

The blazer and LBD (little black dress) were in my mind from the get-go. With my long legs, I typically opt for something flat when wearing something short. It’s not a hard and fast rule that I think everybody should be following, just currently how I feel most comfortable.

And can we take just a moment to talk about this scalloped hem?! This is one of those things that can get too little girlish real quick. But I think on this understated high neck mini LBD it is so chic/elegant.

I’d almost decided on a neon lilac crossbody when I remembered this thrifted beauty on my way out the door. If you like playing with clothes, you might get me when I say this. The bag was like the icing on the cake, and the cake was already sooo good.

Clothes are powerful tools to represent what’s on the inside and wants to come out, I tell ya!
