A couple weeks ago I asked for your help in choosing what I should do to my hair next! If you missed that post you can check it out here. I got my hair done just yesterday and I’m loving it! We lightened my hair up quite a bit and ended up chopping about 4-5 inches off so that my hair was finally all one length. I’m living for this medium length though and decided to share a few easy ways I’ll style it.
The Simple Curl and Tuck
One of the easiest ways to go from beachy to chic is by tucking the hair behind your ear. I typically do this on the side with the least amount of hair. It’s so easy but it immediately changed my beachy waves and gave my hair a more chic polished look. To achieve this look I used a 1″ curling wand and just tucked the hair behind my ear.
The Wrapped Braid
I absolutely love a good braid and half up hair style. I pulled my hair back with a clear elastic leaving out a section of hair that should be part of the half up. This section will be used for the braid. I started a dutch braid in the front and added more hair as I went along the part that was pulled back. Once I reached the elastic, I pulled apart the braid to make it appear much fuller. With the remaining hair, wrap that around to cover the elastic leaving the tail end of it in the back. Grab another elastic and tie it around making sure to include the tail end. Then pull it tight and it should cover most if not all of the elastics.
The Hair Tie
A few weeks ago I bought two adorable hair tie’s that make the absolute perfect bow. They’re by this company called Simple and Blush and I would highly recommend them. They stay in my slippery thin hair like nothing I’ve ever seen and the options are endless with styling them. You can tie it around your ponytail or wrap them around your head. It’s the easiest way to make it look like you tried hard getting ready. In reality it only takes maybe 2 minutes to tie it.
I hope you guys try some of these out! Let me know in the comments which one is your favorite or if a video tutorial of any of these would be helpful. I personally don’t know if I can choose haha 🙂
